     Jane Baddeley was born circa 1833 at Newcastle-under-Lyme. She married Frederic Pickerill, son of James Pickerill and Jane Hulme, on 14 November 1859 at parish church, Caverswall, Staffordshire; He is described as "Frederic", but signed his name "Frederick." As of 14 November 1859,her married name was Pickerill. Jane Baddeley appeared in the household of Frederic Pickerill in the 1881 census at 12 Lyme Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme. Jane Baddeley appeared in the 1891 census at 43 Broad Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme; Jane PICKERING, widow, greengrocer; John, steam engine maker & fitter, 57; Frances Jane, dressmaker, & Eva, potter's paintress. She died on 5 May 1899; aged 65.

     John Hulme was born circa 1763 at Eturia, Stoke-on-Trent. He was born circa 1770 at Eturia, Stoke-on-Trent. He was the son of Henry Hulme and Ann Emery. John Hulme married Jane McDonald circa 1795 at Eturia, Stoke-on-Trent. John Hulme died after 26 August 1798.

     James Pickerill was baptized on 5 May 1822 at Newcastle-under-Lyme; named as son of Kames "Pickeril" and Jane - in IGI. He was the son of James Pickerill and Jane Hulme. James Pickerill was a tobacco merchant on 6 June 1841. He lived on 6 June 1841 at Upper Green, Newcastle-under-Lyme. He was "James Pickerill of... shoemaker, son of James Pickerill chandler F [ie freeborn, because his father was a burgess]. Father admitted 23 July 1818, son baptised 5 May 1822". on 26 July 1843 at Upper Green, Newcastle-under-Lyme. He died after 26 July 1843.

     Henry Pickering aka Pickerill was born in 1824. He died after 1824. He was the son of James Pickerill and Jane Hulme.

     Robert Pickering aka Pickerill was born in 1826. He was the son of James Pickerill and Jane Hulme. Robert Pickering aka Pickerill was a clockmaker on 6 June 1841. He lived on 6 June 1841 at Upper Green, Newcastle-under-Lyme.

     Josiah Pickering aka Pickerill was born in 1828. He was the son of James Pickerill and Jane Hulme.

     Jane Pickering aka Pickerill was born in 1832. She was the daughter of James Pickerill and Jane Hulme. Jane Pickering aka Pickerill was baptized on 25 December 1832. She lived on 6 June 1841 at Upper Green, Newcastle-under-Lyme.

     William Pickering aka Pickerill was born in 1835. He was the son of James Pickerill and Jane Hulme.

     Samuel Pickering aka Pickerill was born in 1839 at Staffordshire; No sign of any S Pickerill in Births 1838-40, or S Pickering 1838-9 - born in N'Castle. He was the son of James Pickerill and Jane Hulme.

     Jessie Pickering aka Pickerill was born after 6 June 1841; not in 1841 Census with rest of family. She was the daughter of James Pickerill and Jane Hulme.

     John Pickrell was baptized on 12 November 1738 at St. Giles', Newcastle-under-Lyme. As of 12 November 1738, John Pickrell was also known as Pickrell. He was a hatter circa 1758. He married Jane Walton on 23 January 1763 at Wolstanton, Staffordshire. John Pickrell died in 1813. He was buried on 26 February 1813 at Newcastle-under-Lyme.

     Sarah (?) married John Taylor. Her married name was Taylor. Sarah (?) was born in 1779 at Enville, Staffordshire. She appeared in the household of James Gregory in the 1851 census at Beehive Tavern, Town Wellfold, Wolverhampton.

     Mary Cooper married John Blencowe, son of John Blencowe. Mary Cooper was buried on 10 February 1675 at Radstone, Northants.

     Tom Watkins Baker was the son of Thomas Watkins Baker Mr. and Julia Freer. Tom Watkins Baker married Lena Howard Freer, daughter of M. Howard Freer and Gertrude Louisa Davis, in 1914 at Maple Ridge, BC; They were first cousins. Tom Watkins Baker died in 1949 at Haney, BC.

     James Byner was born in 1814 at Sedlescombe, Sussex, England. He was the son of Thomas Byner. James Byner married Caroline Hyacinth Young, daughter of William Young and Elizabeth (?), before 1836. James Byner was a grocer on 3 June 1838 at Sedlescombe. He appeared in the household of Thomas Byner in the 1841 census at Sedlescombe, Sussex. James Byner appeared in the 1851 census at Sedlescombe Street, Sedlescombe, Sussex. He was a farmer (according to his son's marriage certificate) on 27 May 1868. He died between 27 May 1868 and 2 April 1871.

He died after 5 April 1891.

Edward Prosser Davis was an engineer, working at Benerley Iron Works, Nottingham on 31 August 1888. He was Executor on 31 August 1888 at proved his father's will. He lived on 31 August 1888 at Beeston, Nottinghamshire. He appeared in the 1891 census at Nottingham; an iron master. He appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 in the household of William ("Will") Samuel Davis at Stanbrook House, Burford; (Head, William S. Davis, a solicitor aged 53, with his wife Elizabeth, 50, and his brother Edward P Davis, 49, an ironmaster/employer, together with a cook and a housemaid). Edward Prosser Davis died on 31 January 1927 at age 74; buried in Burford Churchyard.

     Edward William Davis (an unknown value). He was born in 1881. He was the son of Peter Davis and Fanny Child. Edward William Davis was living on 29 October 1900. He was in WW1 but refused a commission. He was living on 12 May 1927. On circa 1944 his name was legally changed to Child. He died in 1955.

     Frank Davis was born circa 1873. He was the son of Edward Prosser Davis and Kitty Jennings. Frank Davis was educated circa 1877 at Rugby School. He began military service the Army to fight in WW1; and had a nervous breakdown. He was living in 1960. He died in 1968.

     Phyllis Davis was born circa 1874. She was the daughter of Edward Prosser Davis and Kitty Jennings. Phyllis Davis died circa 1940; no issue.

     Eric Davis was born circa 1874. He was the son of Edward Prosser Davis and Kitty Jennings. Eric Davis was educated circa 1877 at Rugby School. He began military service He won the MC in WW1. He died circa 1940; no issue.

     Commander (Charles) Jancey Davis RN was born in 1888. He was the son of Peter Davis and Fanny Child. Commander (Charles) Jancey Davis RN was born circa 1900. He was In the Navy circa 1911. He was living on 12 May 1927. He lived circa 1945 at Naples, Italy. He died on 10 May 1976. He was buried at Burford.

     The Rev. Ralph Leigh Davis was born in 1893 at Dene Park, Burford. He was the son of Peter Davis and Fanny Child. The Rev. Ralph Leigh Davis was educated circa 1909 at Worcester Cathedral School. He was fought in World War I (and was gassed several times) - was recommended to be a pay clerk in 1914. He lived circa 1918 at Kenya. He was educated circa 1919 at London, England; studued Theology at King's College. He a general search for him in Kelly's Kent produced nothing. in 1927. He was living on 12 May 1927. He was assistant priest at Holy Trinity, Nelson Place, Broadstairs in 1936 at 91 Bradstow Way. He died in 1968.

     (Frances Eliza) Helen Davis was born in 1890. She was the daughter of Peter Davis and Fanny Child. (Frances Eliza) Helen Davis appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 in the household of Martha Child at Castlemead, Burford; (Head: Martha Davis, 81, widow, living on own means, with niece Beatrice Anslow, single, 29, companion and granddaughter Frances E.H. Davis, 10, and a cook and a housemaid). (Frances Eliza) Helen Davis was living on 12 May 1927. She died in 1969.

     Thomas Byner was born circa 1781 at somewhere outside Sussex. Heappeared in the 1841 census at Sedlescombe, Sussex. He died between 7 June 1841 and 30 March 1851.
