She married John Chetwynd Talbot 3rd Baron/1st Earl Talbot, son of John Talbot MP, on 7 May 1776. Lady Charlotte Hill was "Lady Charlotte Talbot, the daughter of the Marquess of Downshire, was painted [by Reynolds] in Grecian dress, pouring a sacrificial offering to a statue of the goddess Minerva - a formula he had used many times. Her portrait, which originally cost 200 guineas and measures 8ft by 5ft, had been in private hands until it was bequeathed to the nation in 1941 by Sir Otto Beit." before 1782. She died on 17 January 1804 at age 49.
