     Roy Herbert Thomson 1st Ld. Thomson of Fleet was born on 5 June 1894 at Toronto. He was the son of Herbert Thomson and Alice Maud Coombs. Roy Herbert Thomson 1st Ld. Thomson of Fleet married Edna Alice Irvine on 22 February 1916. Roy Herbert Thomson 1st Ld. Thomson of Fleet died on 4 August 1976 at Wellington Hospital, St John's Wood, London, at age 82; "He gave a new direction to the British newspaper industry. A strange and adventurous man from nowhere, ennobled by the great virtues of courage and integrity and faithfulness" - a plaque in his memory in the crypt of St Paul's Cathedral, London, unveiled in 1979 by Harold Macmillan.

     Edna Alice Irvine married Roy Herbert Thomson 1st Ld. Thomson of Fleet, son of Herbert Thomson and Alice Maud Coombs, on 22 February 1916. As of 1918,her married name was Thomson. Edna Alice Irvine died in 1951.

     Kenneth Roy Thomson 2nd Ld. Thomson of Fleet was born on 1 September 1923. He was the son of Roy Herbert Thomson 1st Ld. Thomson of Fleet and Edna Alice Irvine. Kenneth Roy Thomson 2nd Ld. Thomson of Fleet died on 12 June 2006 at age 82.

     Sir Henry Vavasour 1st Bart. (cr. 20/3/1801) died on 15 March 1813.

     Cicely Van Notten-Pole was born on 24 March 1877 at Bourton, Gloucestershire. She was the daughter of Cecil Charles Chandos Van Notten-Pole and Frances Emma Rice. As of 19 August 1897,her married name was Previte. Cicely Van Notten-Pole married Arthur William Previte on 19 August 1897 at Shipston-on-Stour.

     John Morley Trevor lived at Glynde, Sussex. He was born in 1681. He was the son of John Trevor and Elizabeth Clark. John Morley Trevor married Lucy Montague, daughter of Edward Montague and Elizabeth Pelham, circa 1705; The date is guesswork! John Morley Trevor died on 12 April 1719.

     The Hon. Maria Rice was born on 5 April 1773. She was the daughter of The Rt. Hon. George Rice P.C., M.P. and The Rt. Hon. Lady Cecil de Cardonnel Baroness Dinevor. The Hon. Maria Rice married Admiral John Markham on 17 November 1796. The Hon. Maria Rice died on 22 December 1810 at age 37.

     King John Plantagenet was born on 24 December 1166 at Oxford. He was the son of King Henry II Plantagenet and Eleanor (?) of Aquitaine. King John Plantagenet was crowned King on 27 May 1199. He died on 19 October 1216 at Newark Castle at age 49.

     King Henry II Plantagenet was born in 1133 at Le Mans, France. He was the son of Matilda (Maud) (?). King Henry II Plantagenet married Eleanor (?) of Aquitaine in 1152. King Henry II Plantagenet was Crowned King of England in 1154. He died on 6 July 1189 at Chinon, France.

     Matilda (Maud) (?) was the daughter of King Henry I (?). Matilda (Maud) (?) died in 1169.

     King Henry I (?) was the son of William the Conqueror (?). King Henry I (?) died in 1135.

     William the Conqueror (?) was King of England in 1066. He died in 1087.

     Mary Ann Edmonds was born in 1843 at Birmingham. She was the daughter of Edward Edmonds. As of 26 July 1869,her married name was Gateley. Mary Ann Edmonds married Thomas Martin Gateley, son of Thomas Gateley and Elizabeth Williams, on 26 July 1869 at St. Bart's Church, Edgbaston, Birmingham; he is described as a jeweller on the certificate, both parties residing at Edgbaston.      Charles Talbot 2nd Earl/4th Baron was born on 25 April 1777. He was the son of John Chetwynd Talbot 3rd Baron/1st Earl Talbot and Lady Charlotte Hill. Charles Talbot 2nd Earl/4th Baron died on 10 January 1849 at age 71.

     Sir Thomas Trevor 1st Baron Trevor of Bromham was Lord Chief Justice of the Common Pleas. He was baptized between 6 March 1657 and 1658 at St Bartholemew the Less, London. He was the son of Sir John Trevor MP (of Trevalyn) and Ruth Hampden. Sir Thomas Trevor 1st Baron Trevor of Bromham was Attorney-General in 1695. He "His portrait by Thomas Murray was engraved by Robert White in 1702". Is this the portrait that hangs at Salterbridge, Cappoquin? See Exhibit. in 1702. On 1712 his name was legally changed to Baron Trevor of Bromham. He died on 19 June 1730.

     Lucy Montague was born circa 1680. She was the daughter of Edward Montague and Elizabeth Pelham. As of circa 1705,her married name was Trevor. Lucy Montague married John Morley Trevor, son of John Trevor and Elizabeth Clark, circa 1705; The date is guesswork!
