     Edward Montague was born on 25 September 1649. He was the son of The Hon. George Montague. Edward Montague was MP for Northamptonshire circa 1669. He married Elizabeth Pelham, daughter of Sir John Pelham 3rd Bart. and Lucy Sidney, on 30 May 1678 at East Hothley. Edward Montague lived circa 1680 at Horton, Northants. He died in 1690. He was buried on 27 February 1690 at St. Katharine's by the Tower.
