William Reynolds was born on 24 October 1778; He is said to have died aged 87: his 1836 birthday was marked with a party. He was the son of Peter Reynolds and Mary Reynolds. William Reynolds was baptized on 29 October 1778 at Kinlet, Shropshire. He witnessed the marriage of Samuel Davis Sr. and Elizabeth Reynolds on 26 June 1804 at Nash Chapel, Burford, Salop; groom spelled Davies in the Register, by licence. Witnesses Wm. Reynolds, presumably the bride's brother, and WalterTolley. William Reynolds was a witness when Ann Davis Harper was mentioned in Peter Davis's diary: "Mrs. Reynolds and Eliza go to Nash to chapel and stay dinner at Mr. Reynolds." on 12 June 1836. William Reynolds was living on 19 June 1837; "my friend and relation" (of Whatmore), as described by Samuel Davis in his will. He witnessed the burial of Samuel Davis Sr. on 2 September 1837 at Burford; "In memory of Samuel Davis who died 30 August 1837 aged 69 years", it says on his gravestone in Burford churchyard (near to the S-E end of the church) "Slight storms. AM. Fine afternoon. The funeral day of my poor dear Father. The chief mourners, my brothers..William & Saml , Mrs Trumper and myself. The Pallbearers, eight in number, viz. Mr Wm Reynolds, Mr Partridge, Mr B Edwards, Mr E Edwards, Mr B Giles, Mr C Williams, Mr J Nott of Eastham & Mr Wm Mytton of Deptcroft. The underbearers 6 of the workmen viz. Thos Phillips, James Porton, John Dewis??, John Jones, Wm Bayliss & Thos Peade??. Mr Rushout & Mr Rodwell , the clergymen. The former performed the burial service. Also present Mr H Davis, the surgeon, & Mr Anderson, the Attorney who prepared the will, Morgan the coffinmaker, Mills the tomb builder. The pallbearers wore hatbands and scarfs. The workmen hatbands and gloves took 5/ each in money. All the rest of workmen at Park, Nash and Burford who were not bearers gloves and 5/ each in money. Mr Russell the undertaker. On returning home Mr Anderson read the will. Only Saml & Aunt Partridge stay dinner with me. The Executors, my two brothers and myself. The trustee for my sister Mr Wm Reynolds. All passes off in the greatest and pleasantest manner possible and may the Lord have mercy on the soul of the departed. A better Father, a better husband or a more upright and honest man never was in existence." William Reynolds married Rachel Mytton, daughter of Edward Mytton, before 7 June 1841. William Reynoldsappeared in the 1841 census at Nash Court, Burford, Shropshire. He was a principal landowner in Boraston and Whatmore in 1851. He appeared in the 1851 census at Boraston. He was named as a party to the deeds of Berrington House, Tenbury, possibly as vendor in 1859 between 1858 and 1859. He appeared in the 1861 census at Boraston, Burford, Shropshire. He left a will on 2 September 1861 at Boraston Dale, Boraston, Shropshire. He died on 13 October 1866 at Boraston, Shropshire, at age 87; Eliza Corser records in her diary receiving a letter from Cousin Ellen, to say that Uncle Reynolds had died at 4 o'clock in the morning. However, his gravestone apparently gives the date of death as 10th. He was buried on 18 October 1866 at Boraston; "Uncle Reynolds to be buried St Luke’s day." His will was proved on 31 December 1866 at Shrewsbury; appointed William Davis, nephew, and late wife's nephew John Smith as executors: effects under £7,000, no leaseholds: dec'd described as gentleman.

Peter Reynolds was born on 2 April 1757 at Shifnal. He was baptized on 15 April 1757 at Shifnal, Shropshire; died aged 81 in 1838. He was the son of Peter Reynolds. Peter Reynolds married Mary Reynolds, daughter of John Reynolds and Mary Foxall, on 1 September 1777 at Kemberton, Shropshire. Peter Reynolds witnessed the marriage of Elizabeth Webb and Robert Robinson on 5 February 1782 at Kinlet, Shropshire; Robert Robinson Jr. "of Higley" - probably "Highley", the parish to the NE of Kinlet; the marriage was witnessed by Peter Reynolds (the bride's brother) and Mary Robinson (the groom's sister). The groom's family were long established in Kinlet, but perhaps Robert Jr - then 27 - had moved nearby. The groom's sister Mary was only 18, but could still have been a valid witness. Peter Reynolds was living on 31 August 1813 at Newnham, Gloucestershire; a farmer: however, there is no trace of him in the Newnham Land Tax Returns for 1811 or 1813, nor in a list of Poor Relief taxpayers (1812). He was living on 26 December 1820; referred to as the father of beneficiaries of the will of this date of John Nurs - the children of Peter Reynolds of New House, Worcs. farmer to benefit on the death of the survivor of the testator and his wife. He left a will on 13 August 1834; names son Joseph sole executor and beneficiary. He died on 8 March 1838 at age 80; aged 81 years, a farmer, from dropsy, informant M.A. Reynolds, present at the death, New House. He was buried on 13 March 1838 at Rock; "aged 80." His estate was probated on 10 October 1838; granted to Joseph Reynolds, sole executor. He was a farmer, as described in his daughter's marriage certificate - but he had died by then on 10 November 1852.
