Arthur Francis Holme Wiggin CMG was born on 15 January 1892 at Pussellawa, Ceylon. He was the son of Francis Holme Wiggin and Margaret Carey. Arthur Francis Holme Wiggin CMG Felstead School. He appeared on the census of 2 April 1911 at Felstead, Dunmow, Essex; aged 19 (the eldest of a group of 30 boys). He married Carmen Fernandez-Vallin Marquesa de Muros on 2 July 1921 at Madrid. Arthur Francis Holme Wiggin CMG was First Secretary in the British Embassy in 1928 at Rome. He died in December 1935 at Japan at age 43.

Sir Ralph Alexander Cochrane GBE KCB AFC, son of Thomas Horatio Arthur Ernest Cochrane 1st B Cochrane of Cults, on 21 December 1930 at St Simon Zelotes, Lennox Gardens, London; The Rev The Hon William Talbot Rice, cousin of the bride, officiated. NB The Times of 23 December contains a full report, saying the wedding took place "yesterday". Hilda Frances Wiggin died in 1982 at St. Faith's, Cheltenham.

He asked his tailor to cut his long pants off below the knee and thus began a new era in men's tennis attire." He died on 3 September 1991 at age 86.
