Paphos - The Villa of Theseus, almost certainly once the administrative palace of the Roman governor, contains this large (and surprisingly uncovered) central medallion celebrating the victory of Theseus over the (damaged) minotaur, while Ariadne and the goddess of Crete look on approvingly. Around the medallion, the intricate geometric patterns depict the labyrinth.
